 * Padding-left in: sub-menu or in: nav ul causing the design to shift with the
   a tag. I’m trying to make the a tag (bottom border and the a:hover) to extend
   all the way to the left with the menu items indentation enabled.

 * Any suggestions?
    Thank you.

 * try working with a browser inspection tool (for example Firefox’ web developer
   add-on) to clearly identify how the menu is formatted.
 * to get suggestions here in the forum, it will be useful if you can post a live
   link to the problem.
