Menu Item hides. Although it should be visible.

    Hello,

    i’m using Adminimize with Multiple Roles Support.

    A User has the following Roles:

    – Administrator Basketball
    – Moderator (bbPress)
    – Administrator Verein
    – Ansprechpartner Basketball
    – Ansprechpartner Hauptverein
    – Autor Basketball
    – Autor Vereinsebene
    – Mitglied Basketball

    All Roles except Administrator Basketball, Moderator and Administrator Verein hides the Menu Item Event List at the Adminmenu.

    This should have the effect that this User can see the Event List Item? But the Item is hidden for this User.

    What i’m doing wrong?

    I activated the Debugger, but i have no idea what all this stuff means :/

    Hi Daniel,
    the plugin merge the settings of each roles to a user.
    That mean, that only hide areas, items, there are selected on each role, there have the user. You have right, if the user have all this roles, and the item is not active on all roles, then should he see the item.

    Is the item a item from the menu? Currently the debug helper list only the menu items form the install.

    Okay so i might not configurate it wrong?

    The Item is a Adminarea Menu item (Left Menu). It comes from the Event List Plugin.

    If i deactivate the following Roles for the User, it works. The user can see the Event List Item :/

    – Ansprechpartner Basketball
    – Ansprechpartner Hauptverein

    But i need this Roles for the this User. What can i do?

    The menu item “Event List Plugin” is active for different roles of this 8, not all? Not in the two roles:
    – Ansprechpartner Basketball
    – Ansprechpartner Hauptverein

    right?

    If the user have this 8 roles, and a item is not active in each role of the user, then should not hide the item. If is not visible for him, maybe a bug – only a debug in this install can really help. It is hard to reconstruct in my dev installation.

    Yes, thats correct.

    The Plugin Event List don’t have any Role Support. Its actually active for all Roles/Users.
    I try to hide(“disable”) it with your Plugin. Maybe this is the Problem? Does it matter if a Plugin has Role support?
