    Hi,

i would like to know why menu item description that is correctly written in Menu > menuitem > description, is not correctly displayed on the web page.

let’s take an example: “World & Countries”

On the web page, both words are written only in tiny letters, the capital letters of world and countries are transformed to tiny… so “world & countries”.

i check in the menu function of the function.php file and the $item->description is the only reference to that… so why is it not like i wrote ?

how can i fix it ?
    thx

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Are you able to provide a link to the site?

I’m just taking a shot in the dark with this one and going to guess it may be a CSS related issue. Very possible that class is using: text-transform to change that but a little hard to say without a link. 🙂
