Have you tried:
– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
Are you able to provide a link to the site?
I’m just taking a shot in the dark with this one and going to guess it may be a CSS related issue. Very possible that class is using: text-transform
to change that but a little hard to say without a link. 🙂

ok i solved it easier as i thought… using CSS was enough 😀
