    The simplest method is to copy this code from header-extensions.php on line 231-234 and paste it between line 255/256.

    <?php $header_image = get_header_image();
    			if( !empty( $header_image ) ) :?>
    				<img src="<?php echo esc_url( $header_image ); ?>" class="header-image" width="<?php echo get_custom_header()->width; ?>" height="<?php echo get_custom_header()->height; ?>" alt="<?php echo esc_attr( get_bloginfo( 'name', 'display' ) ); ?>">
    			<?php endif; ?>

    When you are done with copy/paste, remove the original code snippet on line 231-234 and save changes.

    This file is located in theme folder – library – structure.

    Thanks 🙂

    The change I make now to the theme will be overwritten by a newer version, so I would have to redo it all over again at a later stage – seems a bit superfluous. The Travelify theme has the header picture right below the menu – whilst on my page it appears above the menu. Why is my picture “misplaced” compared to original theme? Is there no other way to fix this?
    My assumption though is that the picture below the menu in your Travelify in fact is the header image? Just to make sure we are on the same page here. Thanks.

    In my theme demo it’s not header image but featured slider which you can enable via Theme Options.

    For more information please see theme documentation:
