Support » Themes and Templates » [Resolved] menu hover shows scrollbar instead of submenu overlay
2 years, 7 months ago
hope you can help as i’ve been trying to fix this for a couple of hours:
I’m using a child twentytwelve theme where i’ve moved the banner to before the page in order to get the full page width and some minor css changes (cf. style.css and header.txt ).
I recently updates the main twentytwelve theme and have since (i believe at least, been a while since i had worked on the project) non-working sub-menus.
Whenever i hover over a mainmenu entry with submenus i’m getting a scrollbar to the right with almost inaccessible submenu-entries (tested on opera/firefox linux and firefox windows).
Screens: screen1, screen2, screen3
I’ve tried changing css for main-navigation ul li:hover and such with no change.
main-navigation ul li:hover
Has anybody seen the same behavior elsewhere and how can i fix it?
answering my own question: there was an “overflow: auto” in there at the wrong place. problem solved.
