I am not able to provide a link to the website because I am building it on my Mac desktop with Local.  I am working with WordPress 6.2 and the Twenty Twenty Three theme with minimal plugins and the latest version of Local.

If I want to have a menu on all of my posts which always has the same formatting in terms of layout, typography and color, but has different links depending on the category of the post, what is the most efficient way to do this? I have tried using a reusable block and a block pattern, and I cannot make it work in this way. I am not looking to automate the setting of the links, but just creating a menu that I can easily put on five or six different posts. I thought I could just copy the menu on the first post and paste it on all the others, but I cannot make this work either.

Any suggestions or pointers would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

I recommend asking at https://wordpress.org/support/theme/twentytwentythree/ so the theme’s developers and support community can help you with this.

Why is this a theme issue rather than a general full site editing issue? I re-posted another question on the there forum as you suggested and go not response. Are there no techniques for creating reusable blocks or block patterns except in the Twenty Twenty Three theme? Is it not possible to copy and paste blocks from one post or page to another?

Formatting overall is up to the theme.

In this particular case, there’s probably some CSS that can be applied in your child theme to keep the styling consistent across-site, and the theme’s developers and support community will be best suited to provide that.

You are right. I did get responses to that post, but there were two others to the theme forum where I did not get a response.

So far as this issue is concerned, I have discovered that a block pattern will work well enough to do what I want to do, although it does not enable me to alter the label on the active page. I can live without that for now, so consider this a closed issue.

We should always ensure that the setup.ampedwireless.com is properly connected to the Ethernet cable. We should also make it sure that we are using a compatible and latest browser. In case we still face the issues, we should always try some different browser or try to close and reset the same browser.
