    Hi,

    after switching from plugin mqtranslate to qtranslatex problem with menu occurs:

    – It is related to plugin Custom Field Template (cft)
    – When performing search using cft search shortcode, the result of searching shows not only in the place of the shortcode but the results become the items of all menus. So all menus are absolutely not usefull and if there are many results of the search, the menu become giant.

    @kristýna,

    Changes it the tinymce editor?

    If so, read this known issues

    If other plugin installs a custom TinyMCE editor on a translatable field served by qTranslate-X, then all kind of problems start to happen.

    No change in editor. The plugin does not use tinymce editor, all fields are just text fields. I use WP edit, bud no change after its deactivation.

    Compatibility functions turned on?

    Compatibility funcions turned on.

    The function custom_field_template_posts_where($where) is called when the menu is created. This function should definitely not be performed at the place of the menu. It is called by the filter add_filter( ‘posts_where’, array(&$this, ‘custom_field_template_posts_where’), 100 );

    Any idea?

    Try it first with a standard WP theme

    I tried WP standard theme Twenty Fourteen and Twenty Ten – both having the same problem.

    I found out, that the problem occurs if I use some specific menu. When using the default theme menu, no problem with it.

    I have only pages in the menu and I don’t use any plugin to modify the menu options. Just the standard WP menus.

    Also with your theme?

    When using the default theme menu, no problem with it.

    You can use it now?

    – The problem is with default and also with my theme.
    – I can not use the menu when showing the search result and when having my own menu (not the automatic generated menu from the theme, usually all pages)

    @kristýna,

    Do I understand correctly?

    I can not use the menu when showing the search result and when having my own menu

    So you use a custom menu when showing the search results?

    Can you give me a link and step by step tell me what to do?

    No custom menu when showing search result. I want the same menu as on other pages.

    I see….

    Have you tried pre-path mode and Permalinks to Postname?

    pre-path mode and Permalinks to Postname – no change 🙁

    The search results will also use the id=”menu-item”

    You can not set it up as a Primary Navigation Menu or Secondary Navigation Menu?
