    I changed the color scheme away from the default turquois, however the menu bar with the hamburger icon always remained turquois. I have tried deactivating and uninstalling the them but nothing seems to work. I’ve also tried on multiple phones and tablets.

    Please help. Thanks!

  • Hi @thomasamagne!

    Thank you for reporting that! The hamburger icon also remained turquoise for me after switching to the grey colour scheme and I’ve reported this back to the theme’s author.

    While we wait to hear back from them, you can use some custom CSS to make the hamburger menu grey.

    In case you’re not aware: Please do not edit your theme’s files directly. Any changes you make there will be lost when it comes time to update.

    If you install the Jetpack plugin then a straightforward way to add CSS is to navigate to Appearance > Edit CSS. (Alternatively you can set up a child theme or activate a standalone CSS plugin.)

    The following CSS will make the hamburger menu grey:

    #site-navigation .menu-toggle {
        background: #95a5a6;
    }

    Hope that helps!

    Thank you so much! I wasn’t sure which settings indicated that menu in the CSS.

    You’re welcome! Thanks again for the report. 🙂

    I’m happy to report that this issue has now been fixed, so you can remove the custom CSS I provided after updating your theme to the latest version. 🙂 Thanks again for the report and let us know if anything else comes up.
