    Hello everybody !
    i m making a new child theme and the parent is travelify
    So, i m creating a new css files with the lines :

    /*
    Theme Name: pac
    Author: Grégory Molette
    Template: travelify
    Author URI: http://monsiteweb.com
    Description: Notre premier thème WordPress !
    */

    @import url("../travelify/style.css");
    @import url("../travelify/rtl.css");

    The problem is when i activate the theme the menu bar is broken, there is no more slide down menu, all the link of the menu appears in the menu.

    Do you know how to fix that ?

    Thank a lot !

    You'll have to recreate your menu in Appearance > Menus setting of the dashboard.

    Check your browser's console log to explore whether it's telling you anything about this

    Ok it works back, do you think the problem is coming from javascript ?

    The theme doesn't use JavaScript for its dropdown menu but the console log can pick up more than JS errors

    When i created the child theme, i only created style.css.
    Do there is something else to import if i want the slide down menu to work?

    Let's start with small steps.

    Have you created your menu like this.

    First try to do it without Child Theme, just make sure that menu works and then proceed from there.

    That error can be ignored and it is not going to affect your website. This script is exclusively for mobile menu which is not a problem in your case.

    When switching to another theme you have to enable (not create) manu again just like you have to do with widgets. For different themes you need to start customization from scratch.
