    Hi!
    I have been creating my website checking how it looks like on Firefox. Now I checked if it works on Internet explorer and noticed that my horizontal bar has changed to vertical. Why does it do this and how can I change it?
    I would be grateful for any help 🙂

    It’s happening because inline-block styles are a big No No if you want browser-compatible websites. Use block styles.

    Use this CSS;

    #access ul {
     display: table;
     margin: 0 auto;
    }

    #access li {
     position: relative;
     float: left;
     display: block;
    }

    Refer to compatibility tables when using styles you’re unsure of

    I’ve changed the CSS but it still isn’t aligned like in Firefox…

    I find in Firefox 17.0.1 that the navigation is slightly off, about 5 pixels to the right than Chrome version 24. Is this what you’re seeing?

    I just updated the Internet Explorer and now it is the same as by Firefox, could it be that older versions will have problems viewing my site?

    It could, but I don’t know what you’re seeing.

    I will check on other computers and internet browsers, thank you anyway!
