Menu Bar drop down and clickable link

So I am having trouble in this theme with my main menu. My menu has some drop down option on 3 of the categories but I can’t reach the page that is the parent of the sub items. It only happens in this theme. In other themes once I place the mouse over the menu item all the drop down options fall but I still have the option of clicking the parent page.

Is there css i need to input? Is anyone else having this issue? Is it possible to fix this problem?
