• When i create a menu the child and parent items are not showing.
I created pages that have parent pages. But thats not visible in the nav-menus.

    This are the pages: https://ibb.co/B4cRgnF
This is the nav-menus section: https://ibb.co/vddm75Y

    Hope you can fix this.

  • You’ve shown your page structure (first screenshot), and you’ve shown your list of pages that can be added to the menu structure (second screenshot).

But you didn’t show any evidence that you’ve actually added the “missing” sub-pages to the “Menu Structure”.

Note that sub-pages are not automatically added to their parent pages in MENUS: you have to add the subpages to the menu structure yourself.

    Hi George,

The items are not missing, but the menu items are not displayed properly.
There is no distinction between the parent and child menu items.

Hopefully it’s a bit clearer now.

    Kind regards

The items are not missing, but the menu items are not displayed properly.

Where are they not displayed properly? On your public website, or in the dashboard (APPEARANCE => MENUS)?

If it’s on your public website, then that’s a theme issue. Themes authors design the menu, whether they be vertical or horizontal, as well as the hierarchy or levels of navigation. But my personal experience is that most themes are designed with only 2 levels of navigation in mind.

If the problem is occurring in the dashboard at APPEARANCE => MENUS, then this is probably a local problem on your site, perhaps a conflict of some sort. As you can see from the screenshot below, I have the proper page hierarchy. I also tested on several client websites, and I didn’t notice any problem anywhere.

If I still didn’t understand your problem, please provide a FULL PAGE screenshot. You can blank out the domain name and any other information you don’t want to display publicly, but I need to see the full page to know what you’re referring to.
