Hi,
I’m looking into a fix for very large images being uploaded for the sidebar so until then can you make sure the sidebar image is no more than a few 100k and max-width of 900px.
I’ve seen an example of an image not working in the sidebar, the reason didn’t work was file size was too big
If this doesn’t resolve the issue get back in touch and I will try and help.

hello, hello. i’ve found that the theme auto loads on ipad (portrait) with the search panel locked open. at first i thought i’d deleted/mod something i shouldnt have done but did a fresh install on a diff host and i get the same problem. any ideas?

I’ve tracked this down to a misspelling in the style.css file. I’ve submitted an theme update to WordPress for the fix.
If you want to fix it yourself, search for translatX in the stylesheet and replace it with translateX
