I’m having the same issue with the same plugin and WP core versions.
I am having the same issue. Button is just gray-ed out for me. I can ‘trick’ it into being clickable by switching on off one of the toggle buttons but it doesn’t save still.
I even rolled back to 7.0.3 same thing.

The problem is solved by fix the permissions of the directory wp-content
. In this directory WordFence
can’t create the directory wflogs
and may be can’t generate some required javascripts. I solve this problem when add permission of the directory wflogs
.
It will be better WordFence
show the error for the problem in admin panel as error notice.

skarabeq. Reason: suggestion
Thanks @skarabeq for updating the thread with the solution.
@joebanks10 and @themps can you double check that Wordfence has all the required permissions set correctly? you can check that from (Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics) then open these two sections “Wordfence Config” and “Filesystem”.
If everything appears to be fine there, then please open a new support thread regarding your problem with all the details you can mention about your site/server environment (PHP version, web server used, WordPress and Wordfence versions).
Thanks.
Yeah I get Filesystem Ability to read/write various files.
Checking if web server can read from ~/plugins/wordfence

Checking if web server can write to ~/plugins/wordfence
OK
Checking if web server can read from ~/wp-content/wflogs

Checking if web server can write to ~/wp-content/wflogs

So I need another topic opened?

The plugin “WP Real Media Library” caused this problem at one of our websites. My colleague just found this out.
