# I have a problem with my menu

 * I’m sorry but it would be pretty tough to help without being able to see a live
   site. Do you know how to use a web inspecting tool like Firebug? Have you made
   any modifications to the theme’s files?

 * It looks like you are using the Twenty Sixteen theme? After you have made your
   menu, look to the bottom of the menu setup page and ensure “Theme Locations” 
   = “Primary Menu” is checked, then Save Menu.

 * Please advise if you are using the Twenty Sixteen theme. If not, which theme 
   are you using?
 * If you are using Twenty Sixteen, [this screenshot](http://www.topcode.co.uk/wordpress/set_menu_location.jpg)
   shows where you have to set your menu name to show in your theme.
 * You can also find this setting at Admin page > Appearance > Customize > Menus
   > Menu Locations.
 * If you are running Twenty Sixteen and you don’t have the menu location setting,
   try deactivating any plugins you are running to be sure they are not causing 
   a conflict.
 * If you still don’t have this setting, its likely your install is incomplete or
   corrupted.
 * If you are running a different theme, you will still have this setting, though
   it may be called slightly differently and may be in a slightly different place.
 * Essentially, you have to assign the menu you have made to the menu location in
   the theme.
