This plugin works very well for the past months, but it shows “Mendeley Plugin Error: 503” last night. I’ve tried to refresh the access token, but still cannot make the page show anything….

    The shortcode is [mendeley type=”own” groupby=”year” sortby=”year”, sortorder=”desc” csl=”MY_HOME_PAGE/mendeleyplugin/style/mhra.csl”]

Anything I should do to fix this problem?

I fond that the Mendeley Access Token will expire in one hour after refresh it….. For example, request is sent at 29.03.2014 13:24:04 and will expires at 29.03.2014 14:24:04.

It’s hard to manually refresh the Access Token very hour… Is that possible to refresh the Access Token when execute the shortcode?

BTW, the CSL seems not work anymore….

The one hour expiration time of the Mendeley Access Token is something the Mendeley API determines – However, I have implemented auto refresh – So, the token should automatically be refreshed before it expires. This works on all sites I am currently in contact with. Do you get any error messages (when logging is turned on) when you try to access the Mendeley API (e.g. by displaying a page that includes a Mendeley short code)?

The “Mendeley Plugin Error: 503” is something from the (Mendeley) API Server – 503 is the code for “Service (temporary) unavailable”. Could it be that the Mendeley server went through some maintenance? Is the code working now?

About CSL: What does not work anymore?

Thank you for your help 🙂
Everything (no errors & csl) works fine now.
