Hello, I’ve a question about the cache “Memcached”. I’m using a plugin (WP Custom Admin Interface Pro) to customise the backend of WordPress (to modify the menu and toolbar) but every time I activate the “Memcached” (together with SG Optimizer) in the “Plugins” page I see an alert box below this plugin.
I asked to the developer and this was the answer: “Memcached can cause issues not just with my plugin but many plugins especially when it affects the backend – a place where you want no caching. So either ignore the issue or turn off memcached”.
So, I was wondering if anyone else is having similar issues… it seems strange to me that SiteGround would provide a tool that could damage WordPress.
