# Memcached Backend Error

 * First of all great plugin and thanks for the hard work keeping it updated.
 * Next, I keep getting this error:
    WP-FFPC found errors, please correct them! 
   Memcached cache backend activated but no PHP memcached extension was found. Please
   either use different backend or activate the module!
 * Does it make a difference Memcache vs Memcached? I think I want Memcached, however,
   every time I reinstall I keep getting the above error.
 * What am I doing wrong?
 * Btw, happy new years too!

   before asking the very same question at least three others did before you.
 * PHP memcached extension is not installed on your server, install it.
