• Please I need help with membership, registration, unique ID and administration.
    History:
Members of the association currently register through a paper form and stored in a file cabinet.
    Our requirement:
To enable our members to be able to register through our WordPress website and generate unique alphanumeric membership ID for them.
Our president and administrators of the association should be able to query the membership database when needed.
THIS IS NOT REGISTEREATION TO ACCESS THE ASSOCIATION’S WEBSITE. JUST CAPTURING ASSOCIATION MEMEBERS DATA THROUGH THE WEBSITE.

Please I am new to WordPress and I am supporting the non-profit with this project, kindly help

I would like some clarification please. The association’s website is your WordPress website, or something else? You want members to get a unique ID without logging into the WordPress site? Otherwise, why wouldn’t their WordPress login name (or email) suffice as a unique ID?

What database are association admins going to query? The one in the file cabinet? The WordPress database? Something else? Assuming they are not “querying” the file cabinet, how is that paper data going to be migrated to a database so all data is in one place?
