    We are in the process of setting up our membership site and I am testing account setup. We are using PayPal for our Payment method. The membership is setup to be a reoccurring annual payment. What does the user have to do to cancel the account? Do they have to cancel it in their user account on our website and PayPal? What happens if they only cancel it on PayPal and not our website? Is their access revoked immediately after cancellation or is there a grace period?

    Hi @mandt,

    When a member goes to membership list page, either directly, or by clicking on Change link on their account link, they will see Cancel button on their current membership and they can cancel the subscription from there.
    Doing it from PayPal directly will also cancel his future payments, but in both cases, they will continue to have access to protected content until the next billing period.

    I used to have 2 websites (mulherescomasas and vivianemaldonado at I am not using the second one anymore but I am still paying for both via PayPal. How do I fix it in order to pay only for mulherescomasas? Thanks

    I hope you don’t mind me following up here.

    As I understand, you say that you’re paying for an account on WP.ORG, I would like to clarify that you shouldn’t be paying for having an account on this forums so you should check the transaction details of the payment on PayPal and then contacting the business.

    You could also cancel the subscription directly from PayPal in case you don’t know the company that is charging the fees, you can find more information on how to do that here
