Members only page with registration linked to auto responder

Hi,

What I want to do is, create a members only page, so that only the page or “members area” is protected and that visitors would have to register to see the content, when they register the details are coupled with an auto responder much the same as a web form or signup form, every plugin I have found is unable to do this or I’m just looking in the wrong place. If the registration page looks exactly the same as the default WP login it would be great.
