Member's Link Goes To Their Page – How To Turn This Off?

    Hello, in my wordpress website, anyone who comes and posts a comment can simply put a link on their name which then goes back to their site. Spammers are now getting savvy and instead of posting an ad, they simply post something that makes you click on their screen name, which ultimately still leads back to their intended goal anyway….

    I want to be able to allow users to post comments, but NOT for them to have a linkable screen name. How can I do this? Or how can I at least make sure that the only link it has goes back to their sign on page “ON” my website?

    the link on the commenter’s name is likely to come from comments.php or from functions used there;
    and this depends on your currently used theme.
