# Member search shortcode missing?

 * In an earlier version of AP Family Trees I used the following shortcode:
 * `[apft-search tree=your-lineage-id]`
 * It no longer seems to work in the current version, although **Member search via
   shortcode or Gutenberg block** is still listed as a Pro feature.
 * Has the shortcode been changed or replaced in a recent version? If so, what is
   the current shortcode for the member search?

 * The shortcode hasn’t changed – `[apft-search tree="your-lineage-id"]` is still
   the correct one. A couple of things to check:
   **Verify your tree slug**
 * **Replace_ _**_`your-lineage-id`_ **with the actual slug** shown in **AP Family
   Trees > Lineages. It’s the value in the “Slug / ID” column, not the display name.
 * Note that member search requires a Pro licence. The shortcode is registered only
   when the Pro plugin files are present and your licence is validated. Check you
   have the Pro build installed – the free version available on WordPress.org does
   not include the search feature. If you have the Pro version and the please use
