Hi @pzogas,
Can you please switch on the default WordPress theme and see if the issue goes away?
Have you tried to check this issue using Chrome on an iPhone or on other devices?
Regards.

Thanks for the reply. When I switched to a default WP theme (e.g.Twenty Seventeen), my menus did not appear. I did try Chrome on my iPhone and I still have the same symptom – the submenus beneath ‘Members’ do not show up. Is there a default WP Theme that would enable my menus?
Hi @pzogas,
Are you referring to the not native WordPress menus/submenus which is added by your theme/plugin? I’m afraid, Ultimate member doesn’t support custom menus/submenus solutions and plugins so restrictions will only work with native WordPress menu.

Not sure why or what the root cause was, the problem with the missing menus was fixed by uninstalling the Ultimate Member plugin and reinstalling/reactivating.
Thanks for your attention and time to reply
Hi,
Just wanted to report the same problem, and I fixed it using the same way by reinstalling the plugin, however the problem was from building new user roles from the plugin itself and link it with the roles of the wordpress
I am not sure how or why, but I am sure that this was the main reason as it is working fine now and deleting the new user roles created
one more thing is that when creating new roles the sync with existing users button is not working as it doesnt sync the old accounts and I should link them manually
I hope this helps you to fix the propblem
Thanks
Please ignore my previous comment I am writing the solution here as a reference if someone faced the same problem
1) if you created a new role you should consider it in the menu
2) you might be logged in and you dont know as the logout button is not shown in the menu cause you didnt select it in the menu to the new role you created
hope this helps
