[Resolved] Member level menus in widget

  • My second question about your great plugin is about member-level widget menus. I created a custom menu by using html in a text widget and using your short code to only allow certain level members to see this text.

It works and looks great but is not practical for my editors who don’t know code or html.

The member level menu is going to be for things like logout, profile page, and other members-only protected pages.

Is this possible through a custom widget, sidebar, or template? Just looking for some code to hook into my theme somehow.

    Thanks so much!
    Bob

I usually create two menus, one for members and one for non-members. Then in my header code (etc) I check for a logged in member (pmpro_hasMembershipLevel()) and show the appropriate menu.
