 * I have just installed this plug-in on my site to only restrict access to one 
   page where I will place videos, mp3’s, PDF’s and other valuable content for members.
 * The question I have is how do I set up the actual login function such as registration
   of a member and issuance of username and password and have it work with Member
   Access?

 * After a ton of research, I chose “Members” to restrict pages as either public
   or members only and then “New User Approve” to limit who could register for a
   site I’m working on for a client.
 * The reason I’m back here researching again now is that I have some PDFs I need
   to restrict to only approved members, and I’m finding that’s not so easy. No 
   matter how/where I upload them, if someone has the link, they can view the PDF
   whether they’re logged in or not. Password protecting them isn’t an option. I’m
   mentioning this because you say your purpose is to place downloadables in a members-
   only area.
