• Hi,

I installed the theme Melville by Dalton Rooney from the WordPress Theme directory and would like to make a few customizations. Now I have created a child theme for me to play around with but my knowledge of PHP, CSS etc. is limited.

First I would like to remove the super sized first letter in the beginning of every post. What parts in the code do I need to remove/change?

Also I would like to move the menu that is located at the bottom to the top just below the title but above the line that is before the blog post. I know that I should move the code from the footer to the header but it doesn’t turn out properly. I found a former thread of this “issue” but the solution there involved an older version of the code(?) which didn’t quite help me.
