Mega Menu and Z-Index

    I am working on an Author site, and wish to have the mega-menu overlay the header image just a bit; 32px, to give a good effect on the header.

    I have tried using z-index on both the branding img as well as on the skin css (line 3)

    Is there a way to achieve this effect?

    By the way, this is a fantastic menu! Thank you very much for sharing.

    notice the white area between the menu and the header? I wish to have the menu closer to the bottom of the image, eliminating the white space, but have the blood and book edge remain on top.

    Well, If I actually used a png with a transparent background, I would have figured this out long ago.

    I placed a Z-index in #branding img and a position of relative in the CSS. Works great!
