# media url problem

 * Hi everyone,
    I am having problems with my media url structure.
 * I want the structure to be like this (which is normal):
    [http://yyy.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/zzz.jpg](http://yyy.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/zzz.jpg)
 * and it has that structure when you look at the info of the picture in the wordpress
   media.
 * But when you want to view the picture, it shows this link:
    [http://yyy.com/?attachment_id=64](http://yyy.com/?attachment_id=64)
   and [http://yyy.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/zzz.jpg](http://yyy.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/zzz.jpg)
   shows a 404 error.
 * Now before you refer me to the .htaccess file. I did something that might have
   start this problem (though I am not sure).
    Because I had problems with my posts,
   all posts showed a total of 30 though I could only see 1 in the wordpress posts
   admin, I did this to solve that problem:
 * _went into phpMyAdmin and deleted all content in wp\_links, wp\_posts, wp\_postmeta
   and wp\_comments._ which I found here: [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/missing-posts-after-import](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/missing-posts-after-import)
 * Anyone know how to solve this problem? I already tried uploading new WP-admin
   and WP-includes files. But didn’t help.

 * Not a lot, I’m afraid. I think you’ve pretty much trashed your database. 🙁

 * There’s a chance that your hosting company may have a recent backup which they
   can restore — contact them and ask if they are able to restore the database to
   a time before you destroyed it.
