Support » Plugin: Media Tags » Media Tags no longer supported after upgrading to WP 3.7

  • Media tags still works with old content, however the fields to apply tags no longer shows up with any media content. When going to the Roles Management page, we receive the following warning.

    Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in wp-content/plugins/media-tags/mediatags_settings.php on line 367

    I looked into this further and believe the Roles coding needs to be updated. I do not think line 362 of that file is still applicable with 3.7.

    Note, we are not using multisite.

    Please let me know your thoughts.

  • I’m having the same problem after upgrading a site to WordPress 3.7.1. Now, after clicking ‘Add Media’ and selecting an image, the box / field for adding tags is no longer there.

    However, if I select an image and then click Edit, the Media-Tags box does appear to the right of the resulting ‘Edit Media’ page – so the plugin is active and otherwise working.

    I don’t see any error warnings in the settings or role managment pages.

    Hope there’s an easy fix. Thanks.

    @nigeldeethiopia, @earlthorfinn,

    Thanks for the notification. Looking into these issues.

    EarlThorfinn – what version did you come FROM? Because that functionality didn’t change with Media Tags and 3.7.1 – but an earlier version of WordPress when they modified the Media Uploader (again).
