• hi, working as an admin, I notice that the media management and uploading of any image (even small ones) on a woocommerce product item or page is very slow (even 10 seconds!!!!) the site is currently under maintenance. I don’t understand where this nail could come from??

PS I don’t know if it can affect the problem: I deleted the entire img file to upload after a major redo, but I was left with the icons of the missing images as photos at the link

  • First of all: never offer to provide access data here in the forum. This is against the guidelines: https://wordpress.org/support/guidelines/

Have a look in your backend under Tools > Site Health to see if any anomalies are reported there.

thanks, I certainly wouldn’t have shared the properties on video of course… regarding the subject of the post and your advice, I confirm that the wp tool tells me that it sees a cache plugin and that despite everything it detects a slowness (1.5 sec instead of the 0.6 recommended or considered good), according to my modest opinion this reading concerns loading from the frontend since in other sites I have a similar situation but this does not mean that in these installations I wait 6 seconds to load an image on the post!!! I hope I was able to communicate my opinion and thank you I remain with the problem not resolved

Which caching plugin is used? It’s possible that this is getting stuck here (although that would be strange in the backend).

I would also recommend deactivating all plugins as a test. If this improves the output, it is due to one of the plugins.

I would also recommend taking a look at the error log from the hosting. If errors are reported there, check where they are coming from to find the cause.
