Media Search in New Post doesn’t work

    Hi,

    after the update to WP 5.8 searching for photos in a new post (Add Media) by search field doesn’t work. If I search for any keyword, the photo list refresh but shows all pictures not related to the keyword.

    On another side, if I go directly to Media/Library and use there a search, it delivers correctly photo results by keyword.

    Does anyone know what can be the problem cause here?

    Probably theme or plugin interference. I cannot replicate such behavior on my site with no plugins and twenty twenty-one theme. Setup your site the same way and search should work correctly. Restore your normal configuration, one module at a time, until the problem returns. The last activated is the cause.

    Thanks, that was my thought, too. There is conflict with Plug-In SrbTransLatin – Serbian Latinisation (https://wordpress.org/plugins/srbtranslatin/#description).

    After disabling the search function works again.
