 * Hello,
 * I recently enabled this plugin on my site and initiated the media files migration.
   It appears that the migrator did not preserve the file structure on DreamObjects.
   About 560+ images were placed in the 2016/12 folder in my Dream Objects bucket(
   this folder should be empty as it currently is on the DreamPress server). What’s
   very strange is that the updater did correctly map where the image should have
   been placed in the DreamObjects bucket.
 * An example:
 * Look at the bottom left image on this page: [https://www.iguysconsulting.com/news/internet-safety-and-security/](https://www.iguysconsulting.com/news/internet-safety-and-security/)
 * It was correctly mapped and the src url changed accordingly: [https://objects-us-west-1.dream.io/iguys-web/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/David-Profile.jpg](https://objects-us-west-1.dream.io/iguys-web/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/David-Profile.jpg)
 * However, this image, along the the 560+ others, were accaully migrated to the
   2016/12 folder and therefore exist as a broken link.
 * Any thoughts?

 * That’s … weird. The post is dated August 2016, so I would have thought it went
   in 2016/08
 * The way the code works is it uploads to the folder based on the date of the post.
   That’s how WordPress actually does it, so if you write a post on August 2016,
   images go in 2016/08. BUT if you write a post on August 2016 and publish it in
   December of that year, the images stay in 2016/08. It’s kind of messy. The plugin
   tries to move the images to the folder WP’s meta data implies it should be in.
   So is it possible you back dated posts?
 * The only fix I can think of would be either manually fixing the posts or manually
   uploading the media.
 * The media importer is not perfect and I know it 🙁
