Hi sorry for not understanding, in bulk optimizing it say this: All images in the Media Library will be scaled to 1920 x 1920

    1. does it mean if i have image that is 400 x 400px will be scaled to 1920 x 1920?

    2. and my WordPress have created over 21.000 images how can remove the sizes once i dont need.

    Warm regards B

    Hi @birken

    1. Absolutely not!
    2. When you enable Ludicrous Mode in the plugin, you’ll find a Resize tab that lets you disable any sizes that you don’t need.
But that doesn’t remove those sizes, you’ll need to do so with a forced thumbnail regen. Typically you can do that with the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin.

IMPORTANT: before you do the thumb regen, make sure you have a reliable backup!

    Super thx for quick reply,

i have optimized all of them now and i could see something about WebP images, as i am newbie with this plugin so i wonder how it works.

    1. is my site using WebP images now, if yes how can i check that if no how can make it use them?
    2. my site using cloudflare do i need to enable something to use WebP images?

    Regards Birken

You need two things for your site to use WebP images.
    1. Enable the WebP Conversion prior to running the bulk optimizer. If you didn’t do that the first time, you can run it again with Force Re-optimize and WebP Only options checked.
    2. You need to enable a WebP delivery method. Since you use Cloudflare, you should use the JS WebP delivery method, it’s the most comprehensive option usually (short of our Easy IO premium service).
