The Media Library thumbnails aren’t showing up. When I check the URL the structure is like …/wp-content/uploads//images/our_approach_wheel-5.png. None of our images are in the /wp-content/uploads/ folder, they are all in the /images/ folder. I’m searching the wp_postmeta table in phpMyAdmin and I can’t find where the “/wp-content/uploads/” is being added. Basically I need:

    …/wp-content/uploads//images/our_approach_wheel-5.png

    to be

    …/images/our_approach_wheel-5.png

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

The most common reason your Media Library isn’t loading is due to an incompatible or poorly coded WordPress plugin or theme.
You can try deactivating your plugins.

Ok. Disabling Smart Slider 3 plugin removed the “/wp-content/uploads/” from the file path. I guess, then, I need to figure out why Smart Slider 3 plugin is doing that – if there is a setting I can change.

My next step is to go through the DB and remove /images/ from _wp_attached_file and _wp_attachment_metadata in wp_postmeta.

I don’t know how the mess began but I think I can fix it.

I eventually figured this out. Smart Slider 3 was causing the problem so I’m switching the plugin with Flexslider.
