• I know absolutely nothing about website development. I’m trying to help my parents make a website for their ranch and I’m learning as I go. I use wordpress to run the website for a gallery I work at so I thought I would use it to do my parents website. Were using Google for hosting.

The media library isn’t functioning properly. In the grid format it only loads gray squares even for the stock images that wordpress automatically generates. When I try to upload images they upload fine and exist in the grid but there is no actual picture. Not just the thumbnail, if I click on the image to edit it or look closer nothing appears. I’ve tried deleting all my plugins, opening the wordpress dashboard in a different platform, installing the “Force Regenerate Thumbnails” plugin and running that. Nothing has worked.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I am surprised that you know nothing about website development but you use Google Cloud (self manage) to host your website.

I would suggest you to subscribe a managed WordPress hosting account for your website.
