Hello,
I have recently begun making every single link on my website unsecure (http) rather than https. I no longer need my site to be secured. However, since I began this process it has effected all of my images. They are not showing up at all in the media library, or on my pages. I upload the images and insert them into my pages directly from where they are saved on my computer. This creates a code similar to this:
<img class=”alignleft size-full wp-image-2574″ src=”https://xxx.png” alt=”” width=”914″ height=”262″ />

2 Questions…
1. How do I get my images to show up?
2. I need everything on my site to be http NOT https. Can I get my image code to read with http and still show up?

Thanks for your help!

• In your general settings, under WordPress Address (URL), do you have it set to https or http?

Also, what about your Site Address (URL)?

That would be my first place to look.

Hope that helps,
Ryan

Ryan,

Thanks for your response! I changed both the wordpress address url and the site address url to http recently. I was still having issues with the images. The coding for the images would not show an image unless it was https. So I had to change it the address urls back to https because it was affecting the running of the pages. Do you know why the images would not show unless secured (https)?
