# Media Library Link Missing

 * I’m missing the Media link on the left menu bar. How do I find this link or enable
   it? I’d include a link to the site, but it’s an internal company site and no 
   one would be able to access it anyway.

 * Hi,
 * Did you used to be able to see the link? Sometimes based on your user level, 
   certain admin menu items may be hidden .. I would check with your site administrator
   to make sure nothing has changed with your company’s site.
 * Another way to access the media manager is to go to a create or edit post page
   and find the button above the tiny-mce editor.

 * Thank you, Matt. I don’t know if I’ve ever been able to see the Media Library
   link, but I do know that I am the admin for the site. If I don’t have permissions
   to see it, no one would.

 * I have the same problem. The Media Link from the WordPress Admin menu is missing.
   Since I am the site admin, I thought maybe it was my permissions, so I created
   a new admin user. Logged out from current login and logged back in as the new
   admin. Same problem, the Link is not there.
 * The actual library is still present and I can still upload new media, but just
   have a general concern as to why the Media Link disappeared from the Dashboard
   Admin menu. Tried re-installing 4.2.2 and it did not resolve the issue.
    Other
   than using another plugin to manually set permissions, how do I correct this.
