Media Library Functionality Not Working

I installed Ultimate Member, and like the plugin, its working great to password-protect pages and posts. I’m running into problems protecting the media library elements though. I have checked “attachments” in the settings part of Ultimate Member, under the “Access” tab.

Now, in all of the Media Library objects, I see an option to restrict access and check the appropriate boxes, but using the file url and the permalink, I can get right to the attachment.

I’m using Yoast to ask search engines not to index the files I want to protect, but is there a setting or plugin that would resolve this?
