    Hi
Can I get some clarity on the file extension?
After conversion to WebP, the Media Library will still show the PNG extension, and even on a Live Page – upon inspection, the PNG is visible. Not the WebP.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out!

The TinyPNG plugin can help you with optimizing your JPEG, PNG, and WebP images. It scans your Media Library for images that aren’t compressed and compress those. Once the images are compressed, it will replace your original image with the optimized version.

Please note that the plugin currently can’t convert your images to other formats.

    Hope this helps!
