media library default fodler changes to a different name on live website

  • hi,

    one of the editors tried to add a picture to a page. Unfortunately, something went wrong but the person cannot remember what exactly happened. However, as a result, all the pictures in the media library are not displayed on the website at all – a default name of wp-content in url is changed to grntdocswop-content on live website.

    As a test, I tried to remove a picture from the media library and then re-upload it again and then add it to a page but I am still getting the same problem.

    Example:

    Link of a picture in the media library:

    file url: http://mysite.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/file.gif

    Link of a picture on a page:

    <img title=”” src=”http://mysite.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/file.gif” alt=”” width=”125″ height=”115″ />

    link to an image on a live website:

    http://mysite.org/grntdocswp-content/uploads/2012/09/file.gif

    The image, of course, is not displayed as the url is wrong.

    I checked settings -> media but the store uploads in this folder and full url path to files are blank.

    I am not sure where else I could check.

    Please help. Thank you.
