    Hi,

I’m so pleased to find a grid that can combine video and image into a lightbox gallery 🙂 But how about next and previous buttons once in the lightbox overlay? Can’t see his option anywhere and it’s not displaying. Is it possible to enable this?

    Thanks!

    Pat

  • Hi @patz,

    Thanks for contacting Leap13 support!

Well, I would be so glad to check things further from your end, so could you please share a link where I can find the issue so I can see what is actually going there?

    Hi,

Sorry I was away at the weekend.

    Sure, it’s here:
    https://www.utcartistmanagement.co.uk/production-test/

There’s an example. Is it normal to not be able to navigate through items once the lightbox is open? I just mean next and previous…

    Thanks!

    Pat

    Hi @patz,

    Hope you’re having a great day 🙂

Please let me clarify that LightBox is only available for images, not for video.

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply. OK, that’s quite unexpected behaviour though I would say..

Maybe it’s something that’s needed if you’re allowing videos and images to be mixed in the same grid – this for me was the main attraction to this grid 🙂

For example it doesn’t make sense (from a user point of view) to be able to have both videos and images in the same grid and only be able to navigate through the images, like this:
    https://www.utcartistmanagement.co.uk/production-test/

One for a future release perhaps?

    Thanks!

    Hi Pat,

Hope everything is going fine with you today 🙂

I totally understand your point, I’ve sent that to our devs team to check what can be done and here’s a screen recording showing the expected behavior.

Please note that the grid videos will not be shown in the lightbox until you click the video item itself.

    Hi Pat,

We didn’t hear back from you, so please let me know if you checked the recording above 🙂

    Hi,

Yes I saw that. I mean, for me that’s actually unexpected behaviour haha. If I see a gallery like that, I would expect to see all of the items in the lightbox and not skip the videos – that to me is strange that they are not included and you can only access them individually.

Anyway, this is the way it works so not much I can do 😉 Thanks for your time

    Thanks

    Hi Pat,

Hope you’re doing well today 🙂

Our team was able to resolve this issue and here’s a screen recording for the widget behavior after applying the fix.

Thanks so much for letting us know about this issue.

    Hi,

That’s awesome! I cannot get it to work though, check this out:
    https://e1media.co.uk/creative-test/

Actually the video is not opening even by itself, any ideas?

Thanks for looking into this 🙂

    Hi,

I can confirm that this update actually makes the lightbox stop working altogether on videos. I’ve tried it on two sites now, check here as well:

    https://www.utcartistmanagement.co.uk/test-widgets/

Can you help me with this please?

    Thanks!

    Hi Pat,

We’re so sorry for the delayed response.

We just have released a new version (4.4.3) that contains some fixes for Media Grid widget videos conflicts. Could you please update your version and check again?

PS I’ve checked your page, found a couple of console errors coming from Elementor itself. This needs to be checked from the code perspective. Our devs can help, but please send us a message on our website from here.

    Regards
