Media Gallery Shows Black Placeholders

    Hi,

    I had used the thumbnail cleaner to delete all the thumbnails but not before backing up the original uploads folder.
    I later regenerated the thumbnails but the media gallery showed blank placeholders. So I deleted it all over again and restored my originally backed up folder. But that too did not bring the media gallery images back. They still show up as blank placeholders whereas I can see the images are still there in the folder.

    Please help.

    Please check whether the images are in the same directory and path as before.

    But to be honest, this seems like a problem not caused by my plugin. Thumbnail Cleaner only touches files, not database entries. It is the database that sets what images are attached to what posts, and if there’s none, like in your case, it shows a placeholder.

    What plugin did you use to regenerate the thumbnails? What theme do you have? Can you post the URL?
