    Hey @maria_wp,

Thanks for the feedback! There are a few items on the FAQ that may provide a solution with this issue, this one may get you going.

        – Why are some of my plugins/images/links not updating?

You may try the options for “Safety Switches”.

Let me know if any of them help~

    Hey Cory,

after testing around and looking more specifically into the config I found the solution 🙂

In Step3 I have the New Settings options and there URL and Path are filled out – but strangely both items. Especially the Path makes the problem cause it points to the local dir OR DOCUMENT_ROOT. I would guess that both variables are not required to filled out at the same time – but don’t know.

Anyway, deleting the Path-content solved the issue 🙂
    Thx for your support

I think I have closed the ticket to quick 🙁

I think the path value is relevant for uploads and general settings – especially when I wanna change settings from a plugin or Theme (e.g. Enfold). I guess due to the missing path all settings are stored directly on my HDD in d:\ cause I find on the root folder the wp-content-folder with uploads. Could you plz point me to the place where I should set the path properly to have a proper storage path for the plugins?

    Would be great to know

    Hey Maria,

The two core place where all settings are saved is in the wp-config.php and wp_options table. To change the storage path checkout this article:

    http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-change-the-default-media-upload-location-in-wordpress-3-5/

To edit other options this item is helpful as well:

    Hope that helps~

After playing around I finally figured out where to change the settings 🙂 Namely the upload-path. After adding the path-location everything works fine 🙂 Thx
