media export vs manual upload

    Hi Everyone,

    I’ve got an Amazon Cloudfront CDN link working just fine. I just need to export my media to the cloud, but the export tool is running rather slow. Since I already have a backup of my WordPress data stored locally, are there any problems with me just manually uploading the backup copy of the media to my CDN? Or is it best to let the W3 Total Cache Export Media Tool handle it.

    Manually upload the media files from my computer via Cyberduck that is.

    Sorry, the media export is going to be as fast or slow as your server can go. It’s best to let W3TC handle it because it will also apply your browser cache policies to the objects.
