Media Editor – Can't Crop

    Hi,

    I encountered problems in setting the site identity icon and cropping.

    Site Identity Icon

    I uploaded a 512×512 image, the exact dimension WordPress suggested, for the site icon. However, when I [select] it, it does nothing. I checked the console and there’s an error:

    b.trigger is not a function

    The funny thing is it only happens when attempting to [select] an image with the exact dimensions.

    I tried selecting an image with larger dimension. It proceeded to the next step where I have to crop an image but when clicking the [crop] button, an error occurred:

    filename.jpg
There has been an error cropping your image.

    I was only able to successfully choose a site icon when I selected an image with a smaller dimension.

    Cropping
    When I try to crop an image, the editor only shows a broken image.

    Any ideas how to fix these problems?

    I already solved this issue.
    Since I am using Ubuntu 14.x.x, I installed php5-gd and restarted apache. The GD library allows image manipulation. 🙂
