    Hi there,
I’ve moved the content and plugins folders outside the root of WP, into sub-domains. Everything’s working great, EXCEPT the SVGs aren’t being written inline at all. Is there a way to fix this?

    Thanks in advance.

Well, here’s what I discovered: It appears to have been a CORS issue – it didn’t want to load the inline SVG from the sub-domain. So, even though I would rather have my media files outside of the main domain, I moved them to just another folder within the parent domain (but outside of the normal wp-content folder), defined ‘UPLOADS’ in the config file, and now everything seems to be working perfectly. It’s not my ideal solution, but it works.

    Hi there,

Thanks for your support and using my plugin! And sorry for the late reply!

Thanks for pointing this out. I haven’t experienced this myself and I have used offloaded domains for uploads before. But glad you found a working solution.
