[Resolved] Media Audio Player on Category Page

    Powerpress settings -> Media Appearance -> Display Media & Links -> Enable- Display media / links in: WordPress Excerpts (e.g. search results)

    Podcasts can then be downloaded/listened to from the specified Archives page.

    Glad you figured it out.

    The option is there because in some situations you do not want the player and links on excerpt pages. It really depends on your theme’s design. We rested on the side of caution and made it an option.

    I enabled this feature but still the player is not visible on archive pages. What should I do? Thanks

    First, test with a known good theme like twentyfourteen, this will narrow the problem down to just your theme.

    Make sure your theme developer uses the appropriate filters and actions. If your theme is directly taking the content and printing it into the HTML (without using the WordPress the_content/the_excerpt) then no plugin will be able to add to that content. IF that’s the case, you need to contact your theme developer for help.
