    What is the “attachment_url”?

Thanks for your reply! The attachment_url (label: File URL) is the field where the media file’s URL is shown. This is also used when showing and previewing.

I can send you a screen clip describing the issue if you’d like.

So, you have a form field into which users input a URL? Where on the site do you have the form with the field?

Thanks for your patience.. I am sorry I am not making myself clear 🙂

It is just the regular admin/dashboard of WordPress, ie /wp-admin/upload.php

Can I send you the screenrecording I did?

    Yes, please include screenshots here.

    OK, I watched the screencast.

Well… how is this connected to Contact Form 7 ??

    Thread Starter miaalthoff

    (@miaalthoff)

I don’t know HOW, but I know it is connected since when I inactive CF7 or downgrade to 5.3.2 the URL is not rewritten in that faulty way.

OK. What other plugins and theme do you use on the site?

    Thread Starter miaalthoff

    (@miaalthoff)

    I am using theme Bento

I have a lot of plugins, and before I contacted you I had them all inactivated in order to see which plugin that was the cause of this. It is only when CF7 5.4.1 is active that this problem occurs. So I am pretty sure the problem is not with the combination of plugins.

I have one line in wp-config.php that might be connected to this though.
    define( 'UPLOADS', 'uploads' );

(I use this to make sure the uploads are outside the wp-content catalog.)

Thanks again for your patience 🙂

If you provide detailed information someone might be able to provide an insight about the issue.
