 * I am hosted by IpowerWeb.com. I installed WordPress directly from them(Ipower
   has the software available for installation). I did not download from WordPress
   and then install. I need an API key to install Akismet, but cannot find my API
   by looking under my account. Our blog is:

   Where do I need to register to get an API key. Any guidance appreciated. Sarge-

 * 1. Next time give a normal title to your post, so the the helpers should know
   what you want.
    2. In your admin panel > Plugins: you should read what does it
   say in the description of the Akismet plugin AND click the link. It says: _You
   need a WordPress.**com** API key to use this service._ 3. You are on wordpress.
   org
